Your prospect-to-project toolkit
Restaurant Prospect Intelligence
A clearer opportunity. A more relevant conversation. A prepared next step.
01 Choose a restaurant to review
02 Score & explain the opportunity
03 Prepare the pitch & project
Reports · Intake · Menus · FAQsBy Drew Laughlin
One bonus app. Tools for both sides of the client conversation.
Evidence you can explainFindings, confidence and relevant next steps
Documents you can hand overAgency-branded reports, briefs and checklists
Work you can keep organizedSeparate saved projects for multiple clients
Give the owner a reason to care
A better demo starts with a better understanding of the restaurant.
Before you spend time personalizing another website demo, it helps to answer three questions:
Is this restaurant worth a closer look?
What would improve its guests' experience?
Which part of the demo should I show first?
When you have specific observations, your pitch has somewhere useful to go. You can discuss the menu, booking path or mobile experience, then show an idea that addresses it.
I built Restaurant Prospect Intelligence to help you do that preparation, then keep the project organized if the owner says yes.
Your choice from the first screen
Start with a website. Or search your market with Google.
You do not have to set up an API account to put this bonus to work.
Path 1 / No API keys needed
Check a restaurant you already know.
Enter its public website address. Review the website findings, prepare a printable owner report, and use the sales checklist to plan your conversation. Client profiles, intake, menu editing, manual reviews, FAQs and backups are available without personal API keys.
Best when: you already have a restaurant in mind and want a useful first step today. This path does not include Google ratings or business profile data.
Path 2 / Your Google Places key
Find restaurants in your chosen market.
Follow the connection guide, search by location and category, and review available Google business details before choosing a prospect. Then continue to the same website checks, owner reports and client tools.
Best when: you want help building a shortlist. Your Google Places account and any usage charges are separate.
Change your mind? Switch paths whenever you need to. The app remembers your working preferences in this browser. Google research, mobile diagnostics and AI guidance are separate choices. Saved preferences do not save your API keys.
Your complete bonus app
What’s Included
One restaurant-focused workspace for the research before the sale and the preparation after it. Here is everything you can use inside Restaurant Prospect Intelligence.
Actual app screens arranged in a product mockup. Restaurant and menu examples are illustrative.
01 / Set up your workspace
Keep the restaurant, the plan and the next step together.
The first screen makes both starting paths clear. Begin with a known website without API keys, or connect Google Places to find restaurants. The Roadmap explains each phase and saves progress per client.
01 / Overview dashboard & two starting paths
A clear first step, with or without connections.
The opening screen presents two clear choices: Check a Restaurant Website without API keys, or Find Restaurants with Google using your own Google Places key. Both lead to the same reports and client tools. A Change how you work panel lets you switch paths, while the app remembers your choice in this browser. The walkthrough is available when you want it, and the sidebar keeps your active client and next tool close at hand.
What you get: Start with the setup that suits you today, then add optional connections as your work calls for them.
02 / Agency Profile & multiple clients
Enter your details once. Keep each restaurant’s work organized.
Save your agency name, contact details and logo, then create separate profiles for the restaurants you work with. The Active Client selector switches between saved clients, and Client Tools uses the selected restaurant’s details in its documents. Agency branding carries through to reports and briefs; an uploaded agency logo also becomes the browser favicon. For automated owner reports, explicitly confirm the correct recipient before sharing.
What you get: Produce personalized work for multiple clients without mixing their saved intake answers, menus or reviews.
03 / Six-phase Roadmap
Know what to do next, from first prospect to handover.
Follow six phases: choose a restaurant, verify its guest experience, present a relevant Studio demo, agree on scope and collect assets, prepare the build, and check and maintain the finished website. Each phase explains the work, names the outcome you need before moving on, and links to the appropriate tool. Mark phases complete to keep a simple progress record for the active client.
What you get: A practical sequence and a separate progress checklist for each restaurant.
04 / Saved work, backups & exports
Turn browser work into files you can keep.
Client preparation work saves separately for each client in this browser. Download a client backup and restore it when you need to move or recover that work. Copy, download and print options in the preparation tools let you keep usable documents outside the app. API keys and automated analyses stay separate from saved client records; a backup is not an archive of Google search results or every audit.
What you get: Client backup files, editable content and documents you can store with your own project records. Browser storage does not automatically sync across devices.
02 / Prepare a stronger pitch
Find a prospect. Verify the opportunity. Show the owner why it matters.
Website checks start without API keys. Mobile diagnostics run only when selected.Use the checklist, copy a prompt, or connect OpenAI. This illustration uses a test of example.com, not a restaurant prospect.
05 / Find Restaurants with Google
Build a focused shortlist in the market you want to serve.
Search Google Places by location and restaurant category, including options such as pizza restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, catering services and a custom category. Narrow the view with rating, review-count and price-level filters, and choose how many results to request. Review available business signals before selecting a restaurant for deeper analysis. Discovery does not automatically run a website audit on every result or contact business owners.
What you get: A shortlist to investigate. Google Places requires your own API key and any provider usage charges are separate.
06 / Check a Website & Opportunity Score
Understand the evidence behind the opportunity.
Start with a discovered restaurant or analyze a known public website without a Google Places key. The app looks for website features and gaps, then organizes the opportunity into business value, website need, relevant revenue opportunities and demo fit. Its fixed scoring rules produce a score out of 100, accompanied by evidence, confidence and unknowns. Optional PageSpeed diagnostics are off by default. Select them when you want available mobile performance and related checks, or leave them off and review the site on your phone.
What you get: Findings you can verify and connect to a relevant Restaurant Agency Studio demo. A missing signal is a reason to check, not proof that a feature is absent.
07 / Sales preparation: checklist, prompts & optional AI
Prepare the owner conversation your way.
Choose Use the checklist for practical steps, findings to verify and a conversation starter, with no AI or key needed. Choose Copy a prompt to preview, copy or download an evidence-based prompt for an AI service you already use; analysis notes are included only if you select them. Or choose Generate with OpenAI for connected sales guidance using your own API key. Review all suggestions before using them. Your choice is remembered separately from Google research, and none of these options changes the core score.
What you get: Three ways to prepare a relevant demo and conversation. Copying a prompt does not send it to an AI provider; you decide where to paste it. External AI service terms and charges apply. Connected OpenAI requires separate API billing.
08 / Current Analysis & printable owner reports
Give the owner something useful to take away.
Review the current restaurant’s findings, supporting evidence, feature matches and available diagnostics in one place. Choose the correct report recipient and create an agency-branded Website Opportunity Snapshot that can be printed or saved as a PDF. Include your consultant observations when they belong to that restaurant. The owner-facing snapshot keeps internal scoring detail, private analysis notes and raw AI output out of the handover.
What you get: A focused report for the restaurant owner, plus a working analysis for preparing your pitch. Automated analysis is session-only, so export what you need.
03 / Prepare the client project
Move from an agreed idea to organized content and documents.
Intake answers become a build brief, asset request and checklist.Menu text becomes editable items, categories, descriptions and prices.Prepare website information from facts confirmed with the owner.
09 / Client Intake
Turn the owner’s answers into a prepared project.
Capture fifteen areas of project information, including cuisine and concept, the main goal, restaurant story, design direction, logo and photo availability, menu source, booking and ordering requirements, hosting plans, target launch date, scope and price. An intake progress indicator helps you see what has been captured. The app turns those answers and saved client details into a Build Brief, Owner Asset Request and Project Checklist.
What you get: Three practical documents you can copy, download or print. Review scope and price yourself; generating an asset request does not send it to the client.
10 / Menu Whisperer
Clean up menu content before building it into Studio.
Paste owner-provided menu text and format it into editable categories, item names, descriptions and prices. Correct the results, add or remove items, and organize the categories for the restaurant. Export CSV or formatted text, or print a menu. An optional copy-and-paste AI workflow builds a prompt for description suggestions, lets you bring a reply back, and shows a preview before you apply changes.
What you get: Organized menu content ready for your review. Confirm items and prices with the owner; extracting text from photos or PDFs happens outside this tool.
11 / Manual Review worksheets
Add the human checks an automated scan can miss.
Record your own observations across the review topics, with dates, evidence and recommendations. Use the worksheet while checking the restaurant’s actual guest experience, such as reading a menu or following a booking path. Keep each client’s review separate and turn the observations into a printable or downloadable document. Relevant observations can also be included in the owner snapshot when you choose.
What you get: A documented consultant review that adds context to the discussion. Manual observations do not silently change the automated Opportunity Score.
12 / Structured Data & FAQs
Prepare consistent public information for the website.
Use owner-confirmed facts to prepare Restaurant JSON-LD, visible FAQ copy, matching FAQ markup and an optional llms.txt file. Saved client information provides a starting point, while structured fields let you confirm the address, hours and other details explicitly. Validation flags missing or invalid information before export. Review the output and add it through the website’s supported tools after confirming it matches the published content.
What you get: Copyable or downloadable website information. These tools prepare drafts; they do not publish a site or guarantee search visibility or AI recommendations.
04 / Work with guidance and control
Know how the tools work and what you are connecting.
Open setup guidance and searchable FAQs without leaving your workspace.
13 / Connections & API controls
Add only the services that help your next task.
Start without connecting anything. If you want Google discovery, follow the guided Google Places setup. Mobile diagnostics are a separate, off-by-default option: select them to send the website URL to Google PageSpeed, where availability and quotas apply. An OpenAI key is needed only for connected AI generation, not the checklist or copied prompts. Connection tests can make provider requests. Keys remain in session memory, pass through the app server for relevant requests, and clear on refresh or close.
What you get: Independent choices for Google discovery, mobile diagnostics and AI guidance. You can use one without turning on the others; provider usage charges remain separate.
14 / Help Center, guided tour & themes
Get guidance without losing your place.
Open the life-preserver icon for a Help Center with searchable FAQs, API setup guidance, privacy explanations, troubleshooting and spending considerations. A replayable walkthrough highlights the control being explained, dims the surrounding page and moves its guidance beside the relevant area. The app starts in a dark theme; the neighboring sun or moon switches to light or dark and remembers your preference in this browser.
What you get: Built-in guidance plus a detailed beginner User Guide in PDF and browser-readable formats. Follow plain-language steps for both starting paths, reports, client tools and optional connections.
One bonus, included together: these are sections and features of Restaurant Prospect Intelligence, not separate paid bonus upgrades. Access is included for eligible purchases through my link. Yes. Choose Check a Restaurant Website, enter a public website address, and review its findings. Prepare owner reports and use the checklist, client profiles, intake, menus, manual reviews, FAQs and backups without personal API keys. Google ratings and business details require the separate Google Places path.
Can I switch paths later?
Yes. Use Change how you work to switch between website checks and Google Places research. The app remembers your preference in this browser. You can choose mobile diagnostics and AI guidance independently; API keys are not saved with those preferences.
Can I use an AI service I already have?
Yes. Choose Copy a prompt, review it, and paste it into your preferred AI service. No OpenAI API key is needed for this option. Review the service’s privacy terms and any usage limits before sharing information. The reply is a draft for you to review, not an automatic change to the report.
Do I have to run mobile diagnostics?
No. They are off by default. You can review the restaurant website on your phone and record your observations. If you select PageSpeed diagnostics, the app sends the URL to Google; availability and quotas apply.
Is there help for a complete beginner?
Yes. The bonus includes a detailed User Guide in PDF and browser-readable formats, a six-phase Roadmap, a replayable walkthrough and a searchable Help Center. Start with one known restaurant website and follow the steps at your own pace.
Is this bonus included if I buy through someone else's link?
No. Restaurant Prospect Intelligence is my affiliate bonus for eligible Restaurant Agency Studio purchases through my link. Use a purchase button on this page to qualify.
Where do I access it after purchasing?
In your WarriorPlus Purchased Products area, through the bonus access associated with your Restaurant Agency Studio purchase. Follow the included setup instructions to open the app and get started.
Is the bonus a web app or a WordPress plugin?
Restaurant Prospect Intelligence is a browser-based web app. Restaurant Agency Studio is the separate WordPress product you use to create and deliver restaurant websites. The bonus helps you prepare research, documents and content; it doesn't automatically install or publish a client site.
Do I need to use AI?
No. Evidence-based analysis, the fixed-rule score, feature matches, reports and client preparation tools work without OpenAI. Use the manual sales checklist, copy a prompt to an AI service you already use, or connect your own OpenAI API key for in-app generation. Only that connected option requires an OpenAI API key. External service terms and charges apply.
Can I manage multiple clients and brand the reports?
Yes. Save independently collected client information, switch between clients and keep separate intake answers, menu edits and manual reviews. Add your agency details and a logo to report headers. Saved client work is local to your browser and does not automatically sync; use backup exports.
Does it contact restaurants or guarantee clients?
No. You choose prospects, verify the findings, create your demo and manage outreach and follow-up. The tools help you prepare; they don't guarantee sales, revenue, search rankings or AI recommendations.
How are my API keys handled?
Keys stay in active browser memory and pass transiently through the app server to the relevant provider when you make a request. They clear on refresh or close and aren't saved with your client records. The Help Center explains provider setup, restrictions, usage and privacy.
Will the menu and structured-data outputs be ready to publish automatically?
They are working drafts for review. Confirm menu prices, ingredients, business information and hours with the owner. Publish FAQ markup only with matching visible questions and answers, and validate structured data on the final website. An llms.txt file is optional and does not guarantee discovery or recommendations.
